Mexican singer, songwriter and keyboardist Ximena Sariñana is finally coming to North America, just in time for her first English-language single, “Different,” to be released to radio on June 21. She’ll tour the U.S. and Canada with Sia and Oh Land, starting in Chicago and finishing in Vancouver. Along the way, Sariñana will play Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.

On August 2, her self-titled debut English-language album will be released. The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer and the Bird And The Bee member Greg Kurstin, TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, who has also produced for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Natalia Lafourcade.

Sariñana has had huge success as a Spanish-language singer and has been nominated for two Latin Grammys and one U.S. Grammy. She also won Best New Artist at the Latin MTV Awards and had the No. 1 album in Mexico when Mediocre, her Spanish-language debut solo album, was released in 2008.
