If you’ve ever wanted a dramatized peek into the life of stoic Australian musician Nick Cave, you’re in luck. 20,000 Days On Earth is a fictionalized account of Cave’s 20,000th day alive.
Directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, and written with help from Cave, the almost-biopic/mockumentary takes place over the course of 24 hours, charting the progression of Cave’s creative process as a song grows from a mere thought to an on-stage performance. The movie is out September 19 in the U.K. and is currently in previews at select U.S. theaters. Watch the trailer below.
