Sharon Van Etten’s recent album, Are We There, is one of our favorite albums of the year so far, but it’s not an easy listen. The entire LP is largely about one decade-long relationship coming to an end, the mood of which is embodied in the soft, painful album cut Our Love. Today that song comes back in visual form, directed by Karen Collins. The video features Van Etten and a mystery figure cradled in tousled sheets, longingly caressing in an early-morning, soft-focus haze. We’ve already seen videos for Every Time The Sun Comes Up and Taking Chances, but neither was as unequivocally personal as this. Watch it below.
