The music from the Sounds Of Tel Aviv showcase was a mix of psych-folk and electronic music, all from Israel. The lighting was a bit too dim though, and at one point our photog as well as a few others adjusted the one flood light in the place to point towards the stage. The Aprons sounded like a cloudy dream, Dorine Levy brought some electro sweetness, Optic Yellow Felt were jazz-folk pros, and, finally, representing Poland, duo Rebeka, were synth heroes in sequins. The M.I.A.-influenced Adi Umansky got a great response, and got the audience groovin’.
