New Brunswick, NJ’s Americana-punk kids the Gaslight Anthem teamed up with fellow NB bar and basement icons the Bouncing Souls for a noisy, revved up show at Hudson River Park’s Pier 26 on Friday night. The Gaslight Anthem released their latest album Handwritten in July of last year, and the Bouncing Souls released their ninth full-length, Comet, last June.
The Hudson River became an unusally serene backdrop when juxtaposed against the no-holds-barred rock of the two bands. And like an office party for the heavily tattooed, button up shirts were the look of choice. Our photographer Colleen Magyar was there to catch all the business casual rock action.
