Philadelphia’s sometimes bizarre but extremely entertaining rock orchestra Man Man will be heading out on a massive North American tour in support of its upcoming album, Life Fantastic, out May 10 via Anti. This will be the group’s fourth studio album and second from Anti. Joining the group for most of the shows will be Shilpa Ray And Her Happy Hookers.

The quintet has best been described in the past as experimental due to its exploration into various jazz styles, pounding tribal percussion and sometimes sweet pop melodies. It’s a blend that Tom Waits, the king of weird, once said in an interview that he enjoyed because of the similarities it shares with his own sound. “Knuckle Down,” the first track from Life Fantastic, is streaming below. It has the same Waits-style vocals and hard-hitting marimba attack as older songs but with an added pop-electronic element and bouncy rhythm.
