Grizzly Bear’s fourth studio album, Shields, is set to be released September 18, but you can now stream it in full on NPR. The band is also performing songs from the album live on Soundcheck today at 2 p.m. EST.
This is the first time Daniel Rossen and Edward Droste have written songs together, creating the best album Grizzly Bear has released to date. Unlike the group’s previous two albums, which have leaned toward sleepy, this release is emotionally charged, sonically complex and full of memorable melodies.
Check out the band’s upcoming tour dates and the tracklist for Shields here.
