Under a deep right light at Warsaw last night, veteran hardcore band Social Distortion proved that time couldn’t age them. The group has been pouring out music fairly steadily (excluding a brief break in the mid-’80s) since the late 1970s, but their live shows are still as wildly engaging as any band of twenty-somethings today. The band released Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes in 2011, and is currently working on a new album.
Supporting Social Distortion were Nashville’s garage kings Cheap Time, who followed the headliner’s footsteps in their high-voltage performance and grayscale attire. Our photographer Alix Piorun was there to get up close to the action.
