Sigur Rós is scheduled to tour North America for the first time in four years starting this July. The band will make stops in Philadelphia and Brooklyn, head to Canada for two shows and then return to the States to play Chicago, Seattle, L.A. and some place called Troutdale, which is apparently in Oregon.
The tour is in support of Sigur Rós’s sixth studio album, Valtari, coming out May 29 on XL. Listen to “Ekki múkk,” the first track from the new album, below, and check out the tour dates.
