Still riding the success of his self-titled debut album from earlier this summer, London’s poppiest bass producer, SBTRKT, has released a video for his single “Pharaohs.” Singer Roses Gabor, who provided the vocals for the track, stars in the video as well. The clip is perhaps not as entertaining as SBTRKT’s video for “Wildfire,” as it’s pretty much just Gabor doing a photoshoot decked in SBTRKT-ish fashion (face paint, tribal mask), but at least it’s not this boring.

“Pharaohs” is one of the poppier and less bass-heavy tracks on SBTRKT, the album that has garnered the DJ attention from audiences craving low-end slaps. Last weekend he played a midday set at New York’s Electric Zoo, and starting October 25 the producer will launch a tour that will take him to 12 cities around the U.S. and Canada in 12 days. His tour will hit San Francisco’s trendiest bass music club, 103 Harriet (which is affiliated with the Low End Theory), and L.A.’s HARDFest. Check below for tour dates.
