Pollyn, the Los Angeles indie rock trio, has released a video for “How Small We Are,” the lead single from its sophomore full-length, Living In Patterns. The funky and upbeat track appears on this month’s CMJ Mixtape and features the band’s atmospheric sound and intricate percussion mixes.

The video was directed and edited by band member Adam Jay Weissman, and it employs animation by Jody Barton that accompanies the upbeat and unconventional track. Frontwoman Genevieve Artadi charms the audience from the beginning of the video with her sleek voice and inviting dance moves. The b-side to the single is Pollyn’s cover of Portishead’s “Mysterons,” a track that will not appear on the upcoming album. Pollyn will drop its second single in August, followed by the release of Living In Patterns in September.
