New York’s Obits brought their raucous, intense take on guitar-driven roots rock to the friendly confines of the the Rock Shop in Brooklyn on Friday night, turning the space into a sweat-drenched free-for-all. Playing songs off of its 2011 album, Moody, Standard And Poor, and beyond, the band’s twang-filled take on garage rock felt right at home. Our photographer Alix Piorun was around to catch all the action.
