While Webster Hall was playing host to Kimbra and her elaborate costume changes, the smaller, more intimate venue The Studio At Webster Hall featured an eclectic line-up that put an emphasis on big hooks and crowd-pleasing antics.
California indie-pop group JJAMZ charmed the crowd with their sultry vocals and wobbling synths, while EDM-wizard Robert DeLong spread his gospel of face-paint and unlimited enthusiasm. The night also featured sets from fuzz-rock troopers Beast Patrol, brother-sister duo Blondfire, synth-pop group Lovelife and YouTube goofballs the Midnight Beast. Our photographer Eric Groom was in the thick of it, dodging face-painted hooligans and rabid indie-pop fans to get you the pictures you need.
