Nosaj Thing, aka Los Angeles’s Jason Chung, released his debut studio album, Drift, three years ago, and after experimenting with other artists through the language of production and remixing, the musically multifaceted artist is bringing his upcoming sophomore record, Home. Listen to “Snap,” the latest single off of that 2013 release, below.

From the first note, “Snap” proves itself as lighter and more playful in comparison to Home’s first single, “Eclipse/Blue.” The synth chords, although soft and drawn out, complement the bouncy, upbeat loops and lazer-like pitch bends popping in and out throughout the track.
Home is set for a January 22 release date and will feature several collaborators, including Toro Y Moi. In honor of Home’s upcoming release and the debut of “Snap,” Chung will be performing a special multimedia performance December 5 at Sonos Studios, which will include a performance of Home. Additionally, Chung will play a couple of performances before this year’s end, which are listed below.
