Alt-rock vets Nada Surf has released a video for its cover of Depeche Mode’s synth-pop classic “Enjoy The Silence.” Taken from its most recent album, If I Had A Hi-Fi, the song ditches the Depeche Mode hallmarks in favor of a propulsive guitar-based version.

The video is a collection of footage from Nada Surf’s most recent European tour, set tastefully in black and white. While not touring the United States at this time, Nada Surf, still in cover mode, will play Carnegie Hall on February 10 at a charity concert featuring artists such as the Roots and Patti Smith playing the music of Neil Young.
