Brooklyn psych-rock outfit Physic Ills are getting ready for 2013 early, giving listeners a teaser of what’s to come with their new song, “Might Take A While.” The track is off the group’s upcoming album, One Track Mind, the band’s fourth studio recording. Check it out, below.

Opening with a slow guitar chime alongside a smooth bass riff, it’s easy to see where the band found its inspiration. The Grateful Dead would be proud of their musical descendants’ ability to capture that psychedelia meets acid western vision-quest desert scene vibe.
One Track Mind is set to be released on February 19 on Sacred Bones next year, with the track list already released for the curious fans. Even further album release prepping includes Psychic Ills playing a handful of shows during the rest of 2012, including Sacred Bones’ Five Year Anniversary Show and a New Year’s Eve concert in Brooklyn.
