Move over, Bette Davis. In advance of their new album, Too True, the Dum Dum Girls have shared a new single, Rimbaud Eyes. The poet-pupil ode comes after the LP’s first single, Lost Boys And Girls Club (also available on this month’s CMJ Mixtape). Rimbaud Eyes has the band following on the ’80s dark-synth path it’s been carving out recently, complete with moody lyrics about the peepers of a certain 19th century wordsmith. Is this supposed to be a compliment? Rimbaud has kind of dead eyes.
