In their slow but sure evolution into tonier apartments, Burger Records release another fetching, dream pop tune, this time from bedroom project-gone-traipsing-around-Cali act, Cotillon. The main dreamer here is Jordan Corso who worked with members of Girls and King Tuff drummer Garrett Goddard to concoct Cotillon’s self-titled debut (after some Bandcamp action), out on cassette and digital via Burger, January 26. Here’s the first spectre, Before, a nighttime thought-provoker that slumps along on a New Order melody trip through Pacific Coast Highway moonbeams.
