Last year, Detroit rapper Black Milk released the album No Poison, No Paradise, and it was great. Today we’re getting a taste of what Curtis Cross has been working on since then, in the form of Cold Day. The track comes off Black Milk’s upcoming EP, Glitches In The Break, available March 4 digitally and on 12-inch vinyl on Record Store Day, April 19. The track is also great. Over a faded boom-bap beat and bloated bassline, Black Milk spits rhymes about not-so-great days in his hometown. Listen to Cold Day below.
