Jeff Mangum, the Louisiana-based musician best known as the Neutral Milk Hotel frontman among other music projects, is adding new tour dates to his North American tour this fall. A limited number of tickets to the sold-out Boston, MA show in September have also been released as well. The Boston tickets will be available on June 21 at noon, while tickets for the new shows will be available at noon the day after.

Fans of the now-disbanded Neutral Milk Hotel will have a chance to see their favorite songs performed live by Mangum, and his fall tour has been much anticipated as many of the stops have already sold out. The success of Neutral Milk Hotel’s In The Airplane Over The Sea and the band’s new-found fame added pressure to Mangum, and it disbanded in 1998 after touring with the album. After staying out of the public eye and playing rare acoustic sets, Mangum is ready to hit the road again this fall, and those who buy tickets to the newly added show dates will donate $1 to benefit the charity Children Of The Blue Sky.
