After a subtle, emotional, acoustic opening set from Luke Temple, the Interpol fanatics who’d been lining up since before the sun went down scurried up front when Interpol hit the stage about 10:30. They kicked off the show with Evil, finished with Slow Hands, and in between satisfied the ravenous crowd with an excellent cross section of their catalog. Even some moshing occurred, though I’m not sure Juliette Lewis got in the pit. Their hometown fans were obviously happy to have them back in a smaller than usual venue.
