Governors Ball is back, and New York’s top outdoor indie-fest (believe us) is expanding: the summer 2013 event has added a third day. Having grown massively since its inception in 2010—Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, the xx and Fiest will make appearances and 2013’s headliner is none other than Kanye West—this year’s event will span June 7 through June 9 in NYC’s Randall’s Island Park.

Heavy hitters aside, it’s a ideal mixture of bands fresh off CMJ 2012 like Local Natives, Robert DeLong, Icona Pop and artists that released some of our favorite albums of 2012 like Alt-J, Twin Shadow and Japandroids.

Although they might play before the sun goes dowm, young artists gearing up for a big year, including the sweet ON AN ON and indie pop’s fresh-faced Haim, are must-sees.

The full line-up, lest one headliner TBA, is as follows:

Kanye West, Kings of Leon, NAS, Pretty Lights, The Avett Brothers, Grizzly Bear, The xx, Cut Copy, Beach House, Kendrick Lamar, The Lumineers, Animal Collective, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros, Young The Giant, Feist, Thievery Corporation, Bloc Party, Beirut, Of Monsters and Men, DFA 1979, Crystal Castles, Azealia Banks, Yeasayer, Local Natives, Gary Clark Jr, Best Coast, Dirty Projectors, Portugal.
