England’s folk/punk hero, Frank Turner has announced that he will be releasing his highly anticipated fourth album, England Keep My Bones (Epitaph), on June 7 here in North America. The former Million Dead front man will also be embarking on a North American tour this spring. The dates are listed below and though it looks to be a pretty short stint on this side of the world, Turner wrote on his blog yesterday that he promises to do much more guitar strumming and chanting at venues in the US and Canada this fall. He actually referred to it as “autumn,” because he’s fancy and English.

According to a press release, this album will be centered around the acoustic guitar much more than the previous album, Poetry Of The Dead. The heavily folk based album also promises an English style a capella song. After this short stop in the US in April, Turner will spend the summer playing to crowds at festivals throughout the world.

Tour Dates For Frank Turner:
04/26 – Toronto, ON – El Mocambo
04/28 – Brooklyn, NY – Knitting Factory
04/29 – Washington, DC – Red Palace
05/02 – Chicago, IL – Beat Kitchen
05/04 – San Francisco, CA – Bottom Of The Hill
05/05 – Los Angeles, CA – Hotel Café

PS – The title of the upcoming album is actually a Shakespeare line. He is fancy.
