Following the success of last year’s North American tour in support of the band’s recent album The Fountain, Echo And The Bunnymen has announced that it will return this spring to play its legendary albums Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here. The British new wave/post-punk greats will be playing the group’s acclaimed first two albums in their entirety for every night of the month-long tour.

The band has had some annoying times attempting to tour North America in the past. For the release of its last album in 2009, members were forced to postpone a Stateside tour due to conflicts with the IRS. Apparently, foreign bands are not allowed to tour the US twice within 30 days without paying an enormous fee. Because the band did a one-off show in New York before the tour was supposed to start, the band and its management found the cost too much to be worth it. Luckily for Echo And The Bunnymen’s fans, the isn’t holding a grudge against our side of the world and is returning in a few months. The tour dates are listed below, as well as a clip of Echo And The Bunnymen playing “Stars And Stars” off Crocodiles during a sold-out show at Olympia in Liverpool, England.
