After signing with Sub Pop and playing this year’s CMJ Music Marathon, Daughn Gibson will be heading out on a tour this fall.
Gibson’s All Hell, released on White Denim, is filled with country and Christian gospel styles sung in a hearty baritone, similar to Johnny Cash. But Gibson combines these more traditional sounds with electronic undercurrents, which carry his music away from the nostalgic and into the contemporary.

Gibson’s tour will take the everywhere man around Chicago and down into the South, where he has included two days for Austin’s Fun Fun Fun Fest. Check out the dates below, and watch for Gibson’s new sophomore album, which is set for an early 2013 date off of Sub Pop.
