The Brooklyn duo of Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard, better known as the moody electronic outfit CREEP is going on a national tour next month, in support of its new single, “Days.” Opening for Klaxons, CREEP will hit up SXSW before ruining sunny days all across the country.

CREEP’s sound, which has unhelpfully been described as (gag) “rapegaze,” falls in line with much of the darker side of house, with an emphasis on foreboding and atmospheric synths.

The two Laurens teamed up with The xx’s breathy female singer Romy Madley-Croft for “Days,” which is out on 12” via Young Turks. The single features remixes by Deadboy, who made it longer and actually moodier, and Azari And III, who made it longer and actually kind of dance-y. CREEP plans to release another 12” featuring more remixes, and then a full length later this year.
