Though summer is officially over, it’s still nice enough to take advantage of outdoor shows. And that’s exactly what City And Colour did on Friday night at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. The band was touring in support of its fourth and most personal LP, The Hurry And The Harm. As soon as project mastermind Dallas Green stepped onstage, it seemed like even the birds were waiting in silent anticipation. Green’s expansive, intimate art-folk and the wind through the trees were the only sounds of the night—except for the crowd’s wild applause, of course.
