Experimental noise rock band Black Dice will release a new full-length album titled Mr. Impossible on April 10 in the U.S. and on April 9 worldwide. This is the band’s first release on Ribbon.
The Brooklyn-based trio has been around for about 15 years, and its sixth full-length is being described as a “soundtrack to a substance-fueled teen basement show on Mars.” Right. Though knowing the band cites Funkadelic and the Seeds as influences, maybe the description won’t be too far off.
Special versions of Mr. Impossible, hand-numbered and individually screen-printed, are available for pre-order now here. Get a preview of Black Dice’s “basement show on Mars” below by watching the video for the band’s first single off of Mr. Impossible called “Pigs.”
