Alkaline Trio will release a new album, Damnesia, featuring several semi-acoustic versions of many of its most popular songs. The album comes out on July 12, on Epitaph/Heart And Skull. In addition to new unplugged versions of the Trio’s own songs, the album will also include a cover of the Violent Femmes’ “I Held Her In My Arms” and two brand new Alkaline Trio songs, titled “Olde English 800” and “I Remember A Rooftop.”

The group will also go on tour this summer in honor of its 15th anniversary, with the aim of showcasing a wider variety of its music. The band has announced the following tour dates, with more to come later.
