Jupiter_75,

Take it easy remember one post at a time... as far as slighted bands go, 260's and no Sex Pistols yet...

I agree with Cybin...there are about 4 people making up over 90% of the latest posts (Im guilty as well)...

Also, Furry.. only the Liz Phair track counts- you can't post more than one song in a row

that makes:

268 : Sex Pistols - Bodies

I will have an update soon

WEll I decided not to post the whoel list cuz it was taking forever to load and Im on a T1 line so I will only post up to 300... If you can, before you post a song go to the previous page and do a quick search to see if it has been posted. This makes things so much easier. Thanks....and Im going start a thread about glaring omissions on the list of songs... maybe it will bring people out of the shadows to contribute to the list...

Timmyjoe,

Think you mean Save It for Later [Special Beat Service]1982.

I love those guys. I had the lead singer play a party at my house a couple years ago, one of my fondest memories...

billy, your right,
i had no idea i was calling it the wrong name for years!
Wow how did you get him to play at your party. While a highlight for you, it might have been a low point for him!

Timmyjoe,

you're quite right...I'm sure that the party is a fonder memory of mine than his. He moved to LA though, about five years ago and plays the smaller local clubs doing a few new songs but mostly English Beat and some General Public. Between doing that and collecting royalties, he makes a pretty good living and doesn't have to do big tours. I was lucky enough to convince him to play our party on a weekend he was in town. We paid him, but it was a ridiculous amount.

I heard a couple of years ago that Morrissey had moved to LA, but haven't had any similar luck there. Probably too much to hope for.

ok, we are 75% of the way through the list and have seriously slowed down.
I thought people were holding back. Now is the time to let them out of the bag. Come on, who are your musical heroes?
