Conflict Of Interest XI @ Rebel NYC

The Syndicate’s annual pre-CMJ Music Marsthon party, now in its 11th year, welcomed CMJ earlybirds to the festival Monday night. Three floor of industry types and fans alike mixin’ and minglin,’ drinkin’ some PBR and shootin’ some tequila natually led to groovin’ to DJ sets by, amongst others, Pretty Girls And Lasers and ROUGWAVES.   Headlined by the clap-along, plaid-clad DIY troupe Fanfarlo. Party goers were also treated to performances by Downtown’s latest, the jangly piano folks White Demin, thepercussion lovin’  Union Line and Rachael Ray’s hubby’s project the Cringe. Not a bad way to start a week of good people and great music, right?
