The Decemberists and (former college radio staffers) Tapes N’ Tapes hold steady for another week at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively. Last week’s cover artist, the dapper Destroyer, moves into the No. 3 position this time around.

Deerhoof‘s Deerhoof Vs. Evil did not let Evil win. Instead, it was most added and simultaneously climbed 143 place to No. 33. But the barely-legal Smith Westerns was the top mover, zipping up an impressive 169 spots, from No. 191 to No. 18.

In genre news, Danish rock-metal band Volbeat (whose singer recently chatted with CMJ) took the top spot at Loud Rock in only its second week at radio, as did Joe Lovano Us Five at Jazz.
