Revered DJ and mash-up pioneer Z-Trip is wrapping up his 14-month-long residency at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas to take his legendary live show on the road. He has spent the early part of this year working on new material in the studio, but starting this week, he will head out on the Rock Boxx Tour, a string of live performances that runs through October.

Along the way, the Z-Trip will be joined by a rotating cast of contributors, including De La Soul, Nosaj Thing and underground hip-hop icon Daddy Kev. Most notably, the legendary turntablist will also play a handful of dates with rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J. The two performed together for a short but much-talked-about set at this year’s SXSW, and it wasn’t long before they were talking about further collaboration.

Additional dates for the fall will be announced soon. The first set of shows is listed below.
