“Fall Back” is the only new track on Zola Jesus‘ August 19 release, Versions, which is otherwise comprised of striped down, previously-released songs rearranged and rerecorded with JG Thirwell. The video shows Zola Jesus, nee Nika Roza Danilova, in two stark but different settings: an almost brutalist concrete world, and then in a vast forest where water gushes and the wind rustles branches. It’s chilling in it’s isolation, just poinant against her words, ”
