the wytches

Newbie U.K. garage/psych-rockers the Wytches have shared a video for their brief, relentless barnstormer of a track, Burn Out The Bruise. The video comes in advance of the band’s full-length, Annabel Dream Reader, out Tuesday on Heavenly/Partisan. In case you forgot, it’s one of our most anticipated albums of the fall.

The clip employs a similar aesthetic to that of the band’s previous video for Robe For Juda, utilizing in-and-out-focus VHS footage of the band in various wigs and costumes. These videos reveal the Wytches to be the coolest type of rock band—capable of churning out searing, wickedly good tunes, but still wholly unwilling to take themselves too seriously. Check out the video for Burn Out The Bruise below, along with the band’s upcoming fall tour dates.
