Dream-pop specialists Wild Nothing had a busier CMJ week than most, headlining a triumphant festival-closing show at the Bowery Ballroom and playing an intimate daytime set at the CMJ Union for KEXP’s live broadcast series. Now the nice folks over at KEXP have released a video of the band’s performance for those of you who either couldn’t make it to CMJ this year (shame on you) or those of you who were at panels all day (you’re forgiven). And surprise: It’s really fun.
 
The group’s seven-song set draws primarily on the shimmering, swoon-worthy material from the band’s 2012 release, Nocturne, but they still manage to sprinkle in a few Gemini favorites like “Summer Holiday” and “Confirmation.” It’s a solid half hour of head-bobbing, cheery ’80s pop nostalgia.
