After the overwhelmingly enthusiastic critical response to Tomas Barford‘s stellar Love Me LP, the minimalistic electro-pop golden boy has announced the impending release of his Beatport EP. The remix EP will see Love Me standout track Busy Baby tackled by DJ Tennis, Oliver Nelson, Beacon and KANT, respectively. The EP will be available exclusively through the electronic digital site, Beatport.
In conjunction with the announcement of the EP, Barfod’s home label, Secretly Canadian, has shared a video of Barfod, along with frequent collaborator Nina K, performing Busy Baby in the middle of a rooftop tennis court in Copenhagen. The delightfully intimate, off-the-cuff performance reflects the warmth that makes Barfod’s work so unique.
