SISU is the L.A. pet project of Dum Dum Girls’ member Sandra Vu. Their debut EP Light Eyes was released earlier this year via Mono Prism and, if you didn’t know about them before, get ready to be arrested by Vu’s bedroom eyes in her new video for the EP’s first track, Two Thousand Hands. Repping the DIY counter-culture, the clip was directed by the band’s touring bassist, Dave South, and has all the spotty glam we romanticize of the dank and glitzy L.A. club scene.

The video’s grainy montage of blown-out images complement Vu’s balmy drones and evokes the dreamy wisp that is SISU’s shoegaze number. It’s perfect since Two Thousand Hands sounds like what you’d hear if you were listening to No Joy while on NyQuil. Watch the video below and catch SISU on tour this fall with Dirty Beaches.
