“A perfectly fine music video,” is how Comedy Central’s Review star Andy Daly summarizes Real Estate’s new video for Crime. Portraying a broke Tom Scharpling, who directed the band’s Easy video, Daly readily accepts money from three whack-jobs who pitch their own concepts for the video. Between undead skateboarders, ceramic sculptures, “the good ol’ days” and some shameless product placement, you’re left with a pretty entertaining and very loosely held together story. Comedian Nick Kroll has his own brief and shining moment, and there’s still space left to watch the band perform for some Thai food enthusiasts. Turn your brain off for a moment and watch below.
