If you’re looking for a bit of escapism into some salty sea air and crashing waves, the new music video for “Blue Elvis” from Peals may be exactly what you need. The clip from the instrumental duo comprised of Double Dagger’s Bruce Willen and Future Islands’ William Cashion was directed by surf filmmaker George Trimm. Through a series of grainy video and up close footage of surfers gliding atop waves, it’s all nostalgia with just a hint of Blue Hawaii. It fittingly compliments the soothing instrumental track, ebbing and flowing in sync with the waves.
