Sometimes you just wanna watch a video of a bunch of people drinking, dancing and making out with each other, right? Palma Violets understand this. The London garage-rock group’s debut record, 180, did a solid job of expressing the kinetic excitement of unbridled youth, and now there’s a video for the single “We Found Love” that takes those emotions and turns them into a head-spinning rush of giddy, dimly lit visuals.
 
The clip, directed by Douglas Hart, finds the band being followed around by a roving camera that bears a striking similarity to Spike Lee’s famed floating body dolly shot. The red tint to the bar also gives the video a little of that Mean Streets vibe, but instead of “Jumping Jack Flash” playing on the soundtrack, you’ve got the romantic crooning of Palma Violets.
