Daniel Lopatin, otherwise known as Oneohtrix Point Never, is prepared to follow up his stunning 2011 full-length Replica. Out October 1 via Warp, R Plus Seven promises to further cement Lopatin as a bold voice in the drone, ambient, and electronic stratosphere.

Last month, Lopatin shared his endearingly weird video for Still Life (Excerpt). Today he returns with Problem Areas, a similarly strange cut off of his forthcoming album. Directed by Takeshi Murata, the video for “Problem Areas” sets the gorgeously hypnotic track in a post-modern virtual reality. As the song bounces and gallops, the clip pans over various rooms housing absurdist objects like white Pringles, silver apples, and a floating pink guitar neck. Get lost in Murata and Lopatin’s fabricated world, below.
