How many super weird music videos is too many? Why would you ask such a thing? That’s not even a question for Canadian noise rock trio METZ, whose visual aesthetic only gets stranger with new each video. METZ released “Wasted” back in March which featured a confused-looking, but completely adorable dog and today’s video features Smahmpy the Flying Retriever, a super hero dog—cape and all, that comes to save the world from a morphing junk yard operator trying to obliviate alien beings.

The video, which premiered via Stereogum earlier today, will have you questioning whether or not you’re actually watching Adult Swim with its plentiful slaughtered limbs and futuristic flying vehicles, but the vivacious track will surely make up for any incurring acid trips. Directed by fellow Sub Pop label mate, Chad Van Gaalen, the song comes off the band’s self-titled debut released last year.
