In advance of her forthcoming album Phantom, singer-songwriter-gone-synthpop Madi Diaz has shared the official music video for the album’s first single, Stay Together. Produced by Nick Ruth and mixed by John O’Mahoney at New York’s Electric Lady Studios, the album promises to raise some eyebrows for her switch in style. The first single, Stay Together, does not disappoint, offering crisp melodies, gossamer synths and an explosively hooky chorus. The video for the song finds Diaz singing the song all over the famous Fitzpatrick-Leland House in LA’s Laurel Canyon, which director Claire Marie Vogel lights up like a carnival ride, and it works to push the already-infectious tune to new heights.

Madi Diaz’s Phantom is due out September 30th, and its release coincides with a string of tour dates that find Diaz opening for X Ambassadors and Jamie N Commons in October and Echosmith in November. The tour kicks off on the day of the album’s release at Rough Trade in Brooklyn.
