The Lonely Biscuits are four dudes from Nashville who make easy-to-swallow indie-pop that’s very nice if you’ve been trudging through a frozen hellscape all morning wondering if the apocalypse really is here and, if it is, should you call your mom. Pool Day comes off the band’s 2013 EP, Things Sure Have Changed, and today we’re premiering the lyric video for it.

Somewhat disappointingly, there’s no pool in the video, but there is an open notebook featuring scrawled portraits of the Lonely Biscuits doing skateboard tricks and being all band-like with their instruments. There’s also a weird Schwayze-style, buzzin-at-a-block-party rap verse. It’s like a sloppy romp through a Portland street at sunset. And who doesn’t want that?
