Canadian-bred punk troupe the Flatliners has shared its new video exclusively with CMJ. The footage goes with the title track to its upcoming EP, Count Your Bruises, which drops tomorrow, August 16, via Fat Wreck. As the title might suggest, “Count Your Bruises” doesn’t pull any punches; the video features the members of the Flatliners looking as if they have just stumbled out of a gruesome mosh pit themselves, cranking out the characteristically high energy, sweat-and-blood-fueled anthem that served as a single from the band’s 2010 album, Cavalcade. The Count Your Bruises EP contains two more tracks, both of which were recorded as B-sides during recording sessions for Cavalcade.

Starting August 17, the Flatliners will be touring Europe until October, and upon its return the band will join the Arteries and labelmates Old Man Markley, Banner Pilot and Dead To Me at Union Hall in Brooklyn, NY, for CMJ’s Fat Wreck showcase October 20, as part of the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival.
