The doctor of garage rock and current leader in his field, Ty Segall, has just announced that he will be undertaking a massive coast-to-coast tour starting next week and finishing with a few shows at SXSW. Along the way he will be rocking off at the Ian Svenonius-led Bruise Cruise Festival where Segall, the Black Lips, Surfer Blood and other badass garage-rock bands will entertain thousands of booze-and-4 Loko-soaked people as the Cruise set sail from Miami to the Bahamas (making this an international tour, right?).



Segall released his third solo album, Melted (Goner), in 2010, and he’s still garnering attention a year later. One of the album’s tracks, “Girlfriend,” is streaming below.
