Creepoid
Philadelphia outfit Creepoid emerged from a cabin fever-filled snowstorm in 2009 with a sound that represents the anxious boredom that creeps up in those isolated moments. Their grunge-pop attitude has now taken on life in two full-lengths, as well as on stages with the likes of Kurt Vile, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, and Cloud Nothings, to name a few. Today, we bring you Truth from the band’s forthcoming EP, Wet.

The unassuming bass and drone guitars that kickoff the song set the scene for wails of dissonant chords and harrowing vocal harmonies that come on like an early ’90s fever dream. The band will release Wet as a 12-inch on Record Store Day (April 19) via Graveface, which will feature four new tracks with a B-side etching. Until then, you can climb the walls with Truth below.
