It’s Thursday and the weekend is approaching like a beachy breeze. For the occasion, we’re premiering “Golden String,” a brand new track from Philadelphia’s psych-laced indie rockers Creepoid. Get ready to place it on a loop and gently sway the rest of your day away.

The track’s coming out as a 7″ split with slowcore labelmates Shores, for a special Record Store Day (April 21) release via No Idea. Combining a tuneful whine over languid guitars, all drenched in a Deerhunter-esque wash, “Golden String” is an infectious and swoon-worthy ’90s throwback. You can catch Creepoid live in Doylestown, PA at Siren Records on Record Store Day, and check out the exclusive stream for “Golden String,” below.
