Last week at SXSW, anthemic indie-rockers Titus Andronicus graced the stage bearing gifts in tow. They brought 200 CD-R’s burned with a self-curated mixtape, featuring covers (from Thin Lizzy to the Hot Pocket Theme), live cuts, outtakes, demos, and early recordings. Needless to say, many left Austin without a copy of Titus Andronicus LLC Mixtape Vol 1, but despair not! The band posted the entire mixtape for free on their tumblr today.

Those hoping for more than just rarities should also get amped, as the tape’s third track is the studio version of the new single, “Upon Viewing Oregon’s Landscape With The Flood Of Detritus.” The song will also be released as a split 7″ with the demurely named Diarrhea Planet, and features backing vox by Alex Levine of The So So Glos. Pairing harmonized riffs with a Gaelic pub stomp, the single will sit quite well with anyone hoping to relive some St. Patrick’s Day brazenness. Download the mixtape here and watch a video of the band pefroming the new single live, below.
